Hey everyone, and welcome to a special announcement from Developer Tea. We are coming up on our 11th year at the beginning of this coming January. I can't believe we've been doing this for 11 years, but after all, there are an endless number of problems to solve in this career journey, and we have new problems popping up all the time. My guess is that you have new problems in your career since the last time you heard my voice, and so I want to help you with those. That's the whole point of this show. So we're announcing a special series called the Career Growth Accelerator Series. This is intended for those of you who are especially intent on becoming engineering leaders. In some way, you're going to grow into a senior role, maybe a people manager role, but you found yourself at some kind of crossroads, or somehow you've hit a roadblock. You've somehow stalled out and stagnated in your career. This series is for you. We're going to talk about all of those kinds of problems. In fact, in the first episode this week, we're going to talk about getting out of your own way. As it turns out, this is kind of a prerequisite. For all of the other work that we're going to be doing in these episodes, and a little advice when you're listening to these episodes, I'd encourage you to have something that you can write with because there's going to be some homework involved. Lots of practical things that we're going to walk through, lots of thought experiments, some journaling exercises, those kinds of steps that you're going to be taking to actually make progress in your career. You know, this is totally free. What do you have to lose? Right? What could you possibly have to lose? You know, and you have everything to gain by focusing on your career.
